Tasty Green Cucumber
The cool, green tease — long, smooth, and shamelessly proud of it. Standing there fresh and firm, he’s got that slow, easy sway that practically invites your attention. Crisp, cool, and just a little bit cocky, he knows exactly how satisfying he is… and he’s more than happy to keep proving it, one tempting bite at a time.
Sowing & Growing
Start him indoors from March to April, letting him warm up, loosen, and slowly stretch into form in rich, soft soil. He teases at first… then suddenly he’s climbing, reaching, ready to be admired. After the last frost, move him outside into a sunny, fertile spot where he can really show off. Give him 30 cm of space — he likes room to lengthen, flex, and put every smooth inch on display.
Care & Conditions
Keep him moist in that perfect, teasing balance — never too much, just enough to keep him fresh and responsive. Feed him fortnightly once he starts to flower and he’ll bulk up nicely, producing crisp, irresistible fruits with real bite. Pinch out his tip at the top of his support and he’ll come back fuller, branching out and offering even more. Give him something to climb — he enjoys the hold while he stretches higher and shows off.
Harvesting
Take him when he’s 18–30 cm long — firm, cool, and packed with that fresh, satisfying crunch. The more you handle him, the more he gives, pushing out new growth again and again. Bold, cheeky, and quietly addictive, he’s the kind that keeps you coming back… and never quite lets you have enough.
