Refund policy

General Return Window
We offer a 30-day return window from the date your order is marked as delivered. Requests made after this period will not be accepted.

Due to the nature of seeds and agricultural products, all returns are subject to strict eligibility requirements.

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unopened, unused, and in original, sealed packaging
  • Products must be stored appropriately (cool, dry conditions) prior to return
  • Proof of purchase is required

We reserve the right to refuse any return if packaging has been opened, tampered with, or if there is any indication the seeds have been exposed to unsuitable environmental conditions.

Non-Returnable Items
The following are strictly non-returnable:

  • Opened seed packets or partially used products
  • Seeds that have been planted, tested, or treated
  • Custom-packaged, bulk, or contract-filled seed orders
  • Clearance or discounted stock
  • Perishable or time-sensitive inventory

Due to biosecurity and quality control requirements, we do not restock returned seeds.

Return Process
To request a return, contact talktous@wrong.garden before sending any items back.

  • Returns without prior written approval will not be accepted
  • Approved returns must follow the provided instructions
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and risk

We are not liable for items lost, delayed, or damaged during return transit.

Seed Quality & Liability Disclaimer
While we take care to ensure seed quality, we do not guarantee:

  • Germination rates
  • Crop yield, performance, or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Resistance to pests, diseases, or environmental conditions

Seed performance is affected by factors outside our control, including but not limited to:

  • Soil quality
  • Weather conditions
  • Storage practices
  • Planting methods

To the fullest extent permitted by law, all seeds are supplied “as is” without warranties, express or implied.

Damaged, Incorrect, or Faulty Goods
You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery if:

  • The wrong item was supplied
  • Packaging is visibly damaged upon arrival

We may require photographic evidence before assessing claims.

Where a claim is validated, our liability is limited to:

  • Replacement of the product, or
  • Refund of the purchase price

We are not responsible for any consequential losses, including crop failure or commercial loss.

Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. Approved returns must be completed before placing a new order. Stock availability is not guaranteed.

EU Customers – Right of Withdrawal
For orders delivered within the European Union, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days.

However, this right does not apply to:

  • Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly
  • Sealed goods that have been opened after delivery and cannot be returned for hygiene or biosecurity reasons

Return shipping remains the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise required by law.

Refunds
If a return is approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable
  • We reserve the right to deduct handling or restocking fees where applicable

We are not responsible for delays caused by financial institutions.

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our liability is strictly limited to the purchase price of the seeds supplied
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, agricultural, or commercial losses
  • This includes (but is not limited to) crop failure, loss of profits, or business interruption

Compliance & Use
It is the customer’s responsibility to:

  • Ensure seeds are suitable for their intended use and region
  • Comply with all local laws and regulations regarding planting and cultivation

We accept no liability for unlawful or improper use of our products.
