A wicked, wicked little tease who rises very fast indeed. The moment he's in, he'll come alive, throbbing with urgency, swelling beneath the soil like he’s daring you to peek.
In just a few weeks he’s fully formed: round, firm, flushed red like he’s been caught doing something sinful. He’s the kind that loves being grabbed and yanked hard from bottom to top.
Crisp, spicy, and ready to set your whole mouth tingling.

Sowing & Growing
Slip it in from March through September. He likes a long, indulgent season. Let him press in, but not by much, close enough to feel the sun warming through. He wants freedom to bulk up, stretch out, and show off. With enough sun on his back, he rises fast, pushing upward with shameless enthusiasm, desperate to make himself known.

Care & Conditions
Keep moist he can slide, grow and shoot up with obscene ease. Too much heat and he gets overexcited, so keep him cool, pampered, and craving your touch. Thin the seedlings early; he performs best when he isn’t crowded. Give him a little extra attention every now and then, and he’ll swell with gratitude, firming up beautifully beneath the soil.

Harvesting
He matures at an indecent pace. When his 2–3 cm red end pokes out he’ll be begging to be pulled. Grip him by the foliage, tug him free, and admire the way he comes out.
And the best part? He loves being taken often. The more you pull, the more he gives. But make sure you give him some shade when he gets too hot to handle.
