Loose Leaf Lettuce
A flirty, tender temptress, always ready to tease. Those lush, soft, leaves shimmy and curl, like she's far too pleased with herself — brushing together like she knows you’re watching. Cool and tender at first touch, then suddenly crisp with a cheeky little bite, she flutters, arches, keeping things light, playful… and just wicked enough to have you sneaking back for more.
Sowing & Growing
Plant her outdoors from March through September, or start her inside and let her warm up slowly before she makes her entrance. Give her 15–20 cm of space — she likes to stay neat, but she’ll still stretch, sway, and show off those tempting little curves, dripping with promise. Sow her little and often, and she’ll keep coming back… fresh, eager, and never quite satisfied with just one round.
Care & Conditions
Keep her teasingly moist — never too heavy — just enough to keep her soft, lush, and responsive. She enjoys warmth but likes a little shade when things get too hot, holding her shape while quietly filling out. Give her attention and she’ll reward you with tender, rippling leaves that practically ask to be picked. Keep pests off her and she’ll stay bold, juicy, and ready whenever you are.
Harvesting
Take her outer leaves at 10–15 cm — soft, crisp, and just right — while her centre keeps building something even better. The more you pick, the more she pushes back, sending up fresh growth again and again. Light, cheeky, and quietly addictive, she’s the kind that keeps you reaching in… and never quite lets you have enough.
