Courgette 'Ambassador'
The thick, green show-off — glossy, muscular, and absolutely loving the attention. Stretching out under the sun, he doesn’t just grow… he flaunts it, swelling slowly, confidently, like he knows you’re watching every inch. Firm, juicy, and packed with promise, he’s the kind that doesn’t rush — he lets you admire first… then keeps you coming back for more.
Sowing & Growing
Start him indoors from late April, or set him loose outdoors after the last frost in mid-May. Plant him deep in rich, compost-fed soil and give him a generous 60 cm — he needs space to spread, flex, and really show off. Once he gets going, he doesn’t hold back — stretching wide, pushing out bold shoots, and making sure he owns his patch completely.
Care & Conditions
Keep him teasingly moist — never soaked — just enough to keep him firm and thriving. Once he starts flashing those flowers, feed him fortnightly and watch him bulk up, producing thicker, heavier fruits with real presence. He craves heat, sun, and a bit of attention… and when he gets it, he responds fast — fuller, stronger, and far more tempting by the day.
Harvesting
Take him when he’s 15–20 cm long — firm, glossy, and ready in your hands. The more you pick, the more he pushes back, sending out fresh flowers and even more to enjoy. Bold, generous, and just a little bit shameless, he keeps giving all summer long… and somehow still leaves you wanting another go.
