Coriander
Fragrant, shameless, and absolutely begging to be sown. A reckless little temptress with curves of green, legs for days, and a scent that hits you like a whisper in the dark: “Go on… plant me. Touch me. Make me grow.”
She rises fast, spreads eagerly, and gives herself generously — leaves, stems, seeds — everything. She’s the herb who never plays coy and never says no to a good, deep sowing.
Sowing & Growing
Slip her seeds into warm, receptive soil from March to September, spacing them just enough so she can stretch out luxuriously as she wakes. She takes 2–3 weeks to sprout — a slow tease at first — then suddenly she’s up, flaunting herself, bursting with fresh green curves like she can’t wait another second to show off. Every leaf is an invitation: “Come closer… don’t be shy.”
Care & Conditions
Give her sun — lots of it. She loves lying there, soaking in the heat, getting hotter and stronger until her scent practically climbs into your lap. Keep her moist (she insists), but don’t overdo it; she likes a steady, attentive hand, not a clumsy flood. Enrich her soil and she responds instantly, getting fuller, thicker, more irresistible. Thin her seedlings and she just grows back harder, a little wild-eyed, as if daring you to try again.
Harvesting
At 15 cm tall she’s ready to be taken — tease her from the top, stroke her stems, strip her leaves — she’ll only grow back more eager. The more you take, the more she gives. And if you want her seeds? Let her bloom, flaunt her flowers, then dry into golden beads you can collect like whispered secrets. She’ll flavour anything: curries, salads, dishes that need a slap of heat — she pours herself into every bite like she wants to be tasted.
Your Coriander Vixen is fast, fragrant, and filthy in all the right ways — perfect for gardeners who prefer their herbs naughty, needy, and ready to be handled.
