Butterhead Lettuce
Soft, supple and always memorable. His lush, curling leaves arch and twist, begging your fingers to explore every succulent inch and always ready to leave you with a buttery, thick, sensation. He’s generous, teasing, and ready to thrill your senses, leaving your taste buds quivering for more.
Sowing & Growing
Wake him up indoors for an early start or plant him outdoors from March to September, giving him plenty of room to flex, stretch, and show off his tight, luscious body. Space him 25–30 cm apart so he can rise tall and proud. Thin seedlings gently — he loves the attention and will respond by swelling fuller, firmer, and dripping with buttery temptation.
Care & Conditions
Keep his soil teasingly moist coaxing him into luscious, tender growth. He thrives in partial shade during summer and full sun in cooler months, responding to every gentle caress, swelling bigger, richer, and juicier. Feed him every few weeks, and he’ll reward your devotion with leaves that ripple under your fingers, soft, succulent, and begging to be pulled.
Harvesting
Claim his outer leaves for a teasing bite, or if you dare, devour his whole head after 8–10 weeks. Use cloches or cold frames in winter, and he’ll keep giving.
